The Kent Project 2 demonstrates how the DSS Cedrus Sloped Fabric Retractable Roof System can transform a residential home, specifically enhancing a large balcony area to maximise enjoyment of the property’s panoramic views. This system allows the homeowners to effortlessly adapt the space to varying weather conditions, providing shade on sunny days and shelter during unexpected rain, thus ensuring that the stunning landscape can be enjoyed at any time. 

Custom brackets were designed and installed to securely attach the retractable roof system to the veranda, ensuring a seamless integration that respects the property’s architectural integrity. Alongside, custom flashing was implemented to guarantee a flawless finish, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the outdoor space. 

Strategically placed LEDs were incorporated, offering ample illumination that extends the usability of the balcony area into the evening. This thoughtful addition creates a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for entertaining guests or enjoying quiet moments while soaking in the breathtaking views.
