The Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links is a beautiful venue located on the coast of Dublin, which specialises in a range of events from conferences, team building, dining, golfing and special occasions, like weddings.  

As a busy sports and conference venue, Portmarnock Hotel needed to create a shading spot for the colder and rainier months of the year, so that they can continue accommodating guests all year round. 

In order to achieve this, we installed a retractable and tilting louvre roof with frame in the grounds of the hotel, which sheltered a comfortable outdoor dining area. This retractable roof pergola was also integrated with internal heating systems to add extra warmth in the colder months. Customers could, therefore, enjoy a relaxing alfresco dining experience in any season.
