One Tun Pub is a traditional British Pub located in Hatton Garden in the Holborn district of London. The pub menu takes influence from Thai cuisine, being ideal for lunch, dinner or even evening drinks. As well as their appetising menu and stylish cocktails, the One Tub Pub also has eight stylish boutique bedrooms for guests to extend their stay. 

As a popular pub in the centre of London, One Tun Pub needed to create a welcoming garden for locals to enjoy after work. With this in mind, we set out to design a bespoke retractable roof pergola for their small courtyard which functions in every weather condition.  

Our team installed a retractable and tilting louvre roof suspended on custom brackets. Their courtyard space also featured an irregular design, so we adjusted our system accordingly. In order to fit the space, we used custom made brackets in different sizes to create the retractable motion of the roof. Our team also designed bespoke fixed infills around the retractable structure which covered the courtyard area, making it watertight. 

To further customise their design, the One Tun Pub chose to integrate LED lighting within their roof, illuminating the pub garden in the evenings and adding ambience. Customers are now able to enjoy drinks and socialising no matter the weather in this excellent venue.
