Designer Shade Solutions proudly partnered with ArcadeX to transform their riverside venue into a versatile and stylish outdoor destination. Located on the banks of the River Thames, with the iconic Battersea Power Station as its backdrop, ArcadeX offers an exceptional setting for food, drinks, and live entertainment. Our bespoke retractable roof system played a pivotal role in elevating this space’s appeal and functionality.

For this project, we designed and installed the DSS Selvi Curved Retractable Fabric Roof System, complemented by our DSS Motorized Zip Blinds. The retractable roof system allows ArcadeX to seamlessly adapt to the unpredictable British weather, ensuring visitors can enjoy their experience regardless of sunshine or rain. The curved design blends beautifully with the venue’s Art Deco and Mid-century Modern aesthetic, harmonizing with the bold design language established by architects Shivani Panchal and Lionel Real de Azua.

The roof system not only provides weather protection but also enhances the ambiance of the space. Guests can lounge under open skies during sunny afternoons or remain comfortably shielded during rain showers, all while enjoying views of the serene river. The addition of motorized zip blinds offers further control over shading and privacy, adding another layer of versatility to this dynamic venue.
